Resurrection Catholic School participates in BoxTops for Education.
Box Tops is changing to fit today’s families. The new and improved Box Tops mobile app uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school’s earnings online.
Resurrection Catholic School receives money when it sends in box tops. All the money goes to student instruction and supplies. The school has purchased gym equipment including balls, cones, and scooters.
Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production, but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. You can still clip and send them to school. Items can be delivered to the school or dropped off at churches.
Cut the small square surrounded by a dashed line that’s marked “official coupon.” Box Tops products include General Mills, ZipLoc, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, Totinos, Green Giant, Scott, Hefty, and many more. Just look for the pink and yellow coupon.
Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Top label. Learn More.

Business owners can redirect their tax dollars into educational scholarships for Resurrection Catholic School students in a simple process available to Pennsylvania schools. Participating businesses receive credit against their PA taxes, dollar-for-dollar; they also receive a federal tax deduction against net income for a charitable donation.
We are grateful to our partners in this effort: Sahd Metal Recycling, Charles F. Snyder Funeral Homes and Crematory, Donegal Insurance Group, and Math-U-See.
They participate in two programs—the Educational Improvement Tax Credit or EITC, and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit or OSTC— a win-win situation for qualifying businesses that helps students and their families afford their school of choice.
EITC began in 2001 as an education tax credit for corporations. By 2013–14, the state allocation for EITC was over $100 million. Thousands of students have been given the chance to attend a school that otherwise would have been unavailable to them.
OSTC began in 2012 to provide tuition assistance to students who reside in low-achieving public school districts so they could attend a different school outside their district. The state allocated $50 million in OSTC funding in 2013–14.
Businesses that give to Resurrection Catholic School in this way add value to our students’ education here. It’s simple to do—just verify with your accountant that you qualify and then submit an online application to the Department of Community and Economic Development in Harrisburg.
Applications should be completed by March! To benefit your business and Resurrection Catholic School, check out the information at the links provided.
